Updating the PNGDAC

This function allows travellers to amend or update their previously submitted PNGDAC information. It is used when there are corrections or changes prior to travel, such as flight details, travel dates, accommodation, or personal information. The system records the amendments, and the most recent information will be used for official processing.

Procedure for updating

Search for the PNGDAC records that require modification.

Review your information

Receive the PNGDAC documents via email

prepare your documents to present to the ​officer authorities

Remark:The PNGDAC can be updated prior to presenting to immigration on arrival.

For your information

1. All details must be entered in English.
2. For dropdown fields, you can type three characters of the desired information, and the system will automatically display relevant options for selection.
3. Please recheck your information every time you retrieve data from the passport biodata page (MRZ)
4. Please note that the PNGDAC is not visa. 
5. Please note that you will not be able to update the following information: 
   - PNGDAC No.
   - Family name
   - ​Given names
   - Date of birth
   - ​Nationality
   - Email
If you wish to update any of the fields above, please make a new submission.

How to ​update PNGDAC

1. ​Visit the website pngdac.ica.gov.pg
2. Check the box to verify you are human.
3. Click "Update PNGDAC" button. 
4. Enter the required information for search, including: 
    - PNGDAC No. 
    - Date of Birth 
    - Nationality/Citizenship 
5. Click "Search." 
6. Confirm the correction of the information and edit any details as necessary. Then click "Confirm"  
7. Enter your 6-digit OTP ​code that you received via email to confirm the submission. Then click "Submit".
8. Review your information. Please verify the accuracy of all information before submitting the form. Use “Previous” to modify information or “Cancel” to exit without saving. Then click "Confirm"  
9. Download the PNGDAC. You can also download or print a copy from the email address provided for the duration of your stay in ​Papua New Guinea.
